In this generation of poets in Kenya,one cannot speak of spoken word poetry without mentioning names like Tear drops the poet  and Mufasa the poet.This two poets have made a great impact in the spoken word poetry industry in Kenya.They are both former winners in great poetry competition including Slum Africa and  Fatumas voice.Now the two have come together to do something that has never been done in the poetry industry in Kenya.
This October 12th, the two will be launching their separate albums together in the same event,same venue,same time. The event dubbed UNCHAINED VOICESwill take place  at the Alliance Française in Nairobi.The event organised by  cre8ive spillz will see most of the spoken word poets in kenya coming together to support two of their own poets.Also present will be bands wich fusse poetry with music including Sarabi band and H_art the band. It will begin at 1600 hrs until 2200 hrs.
During that period,apart from the album launch we will see poetry fussing will other elements of art such us music,dance,painting and other forms.
Tear drops album will feature pieces like revolution and others which are suprise and he has never performed them.
Early bird tickets will be going for sh500 while at the gate tickets will be sh800.
For the spoken word poetry lovers missing the event will be a diss coz it will be one of the spoken word event that will be remembered  but although its not yet confirmed,the albums will be sold later on after the event.
